Published by W.H. Allen in 1981, this is the First UK edition of Charles Bukowski’s classic novel, Women.
The Black Sparrow Press first edition was awkwardly edited by publisher John Martin, prompting Bukowski to demand that Martin to put out a second revised printing of the book.
The UK first edition is the way Bukowski intended it to be read.
This copy is in near fine condition with an unclipped price tag. The jacket has some light sunning to the spine and very minimal wear to the covers. The pages have tanned/browned over time but are clean.
