The January 1971 issue of Fling (Vol. 13, No. 6) features the Charles Bukowski short story, Chippy Chippy Suck Nuts.
This short story first appeared in the Essex House version of Notes of a Dirty Old Man in 1969.
There is a great two-page comic to accompany the story by an unknown illustrated.
The magazine is in Fair Condition (readable) with 3-hole binder holes, a mis-spelled hand-written note in marker on the cover, a small split on the top of the spine, and overall heavy wear.
Still, the illustrations alone make this copy worth owning.
Fling was another attempt to follow Hugh Hefner’s success. It was founded in 1957 by Relim Publishing Company out of Chicago. Bukowski short stories appeared in at least 10 issues of Fling between 1970-1986.
