Walking on Carlton Way by Michael Montfort (1982)

Taken in 1982, this Michael Montfort photograph shows Charles Bukowski walking down Carlton Way, where he used to live in the 1970s.

Officially named by Monfort “Walking on Carlton Way” the beautiful composition shows Bukowski walking down a street drinking a beer with graffiti in the background.

This is a print of a legendary Montfort photograph and was published several times.

Printed on Kodak photo paper with rounded corners, the photograph measures approximately 4.5” x 3” and has Montfort’s stamp on the back.

The photo is in excellent condition.
