The 1976 Black Sparrow Press New Years Greeting featured THE LAST POEM by Diane Wakoski and TOUGH COMPANY by Charles Bukowski.
Beginning in 1970, Black Sparrow Press began a long tradition of featuring Bukowski in its New Years Greeting, but this was the only on Bukowski shared with another writer.
The 1976 greeting was also one of the larger in size, measuring approximately 8” x 5.5”. It has thick, textured covers and the binding is hand sewn.
Comes in the original enevelope which has browned with time.
The front cover design itself is very Bi-Centennial American.
