The January 1972 issue of Fling (Vol. 14, No. 6) features the Charles Bukowski short story, Dancing Nina. The short story is about his lover (at the time) Linda King.
This short story wouldn’t be collected in book form until The Bell Tolls for No One (2015).
This issue also features a Stanley Kubrick interview with some great quotes.
The magazine is in Very Good + condition with a stamp date and some creases on the front cover, a crease on the lower right that impacts all interior pages, and some general wear.
Fling was another attempt to follow Hugh Hefner’s success. It was founded in 1957 by Relim Publishing Company out of Chicago. Bukowski short stories appeared in at least 10 issues of Fling between 1970-1986.
