Published in 1966, Entrails No. 2, featured the Bukowski poem:

God

The title of some Bukowski poems were renamed later when they were collected in books, especially the posthumous books.

Such is the case here.

God would be renamed A Little Sleep And Peace Of Silence when it was included in At Terror Street and Agony Way (1968).

And God would be renamed A Little Sleep was changed to A Little Sleep And Peace Of Stillness when it appeared in Burning in Water Drowning in Flame (1974).

There were several cover designs for this issue. This one appears to be the more common design, black ink on yellow covers.

This copy also still has the holy grail Beat Nickle Bag still attached to the rear cover and unopened.

Contributors include Charles Bukowski, Clarence Major, Douglas Blazek and Harvy Tucker, among others. Also includes Tuli Kupferberg's "prevue Fug song," "Street Fuck"

This copy is in Very Good condition with chips to the spine, fading to the covers, an old price tag on the front cover, and stains to the rear cover.

Box 10

Still, especially with the Beat Nickle Bag, a nice specimen of this journal published by Whisper Shit Press and edited by the great Gene Bloom out of New York.
