Beat Scene 20 – Special Charles Bukowski Issue

Published in 1994 following Bukowski’s death, Beat Scene #20 features letters, an uncollected poem, interviews, articles, photos and more.

The poems include:

• Somebody Knocking - circa 1994
• 40,000 - circa 1994

Somebody Knocking has yet to be collected in any books.

40,000 appeared later in Bone Palace Ballet.

This copy is in Fine condition and comes from estate of Red Stodolsky, owner of Baroque Book Store and a close friend of Charles Bukowski.

Beat Scene was published by Kevin Ring’s legendary Beat Scene Press out of Coventry, England. Ring produced a number of chapbooks about Bukowski and other writers, as well Bukowski poems and articles in his Transit and Beat Scene magazine.
