Published in 1986 by the legendary Jeffrey Weinberg from Water Row Books, Writers Outside the Margin features a really great Notes of a Dirty Old Man column about Bukowski meeting Neal Cassady a week before his death.
This copy is signed by Jeffrey H. Weinberg on the title page.
The cover features a great drawing by Bukowski of his interpretation of The Beats.
This copy also comes with a flter for the Book, also featuring Bukowski’s interpretation of The Beats.
Also includes a story by William S. Burroughs; a related essay about Burroughs by David Clewell; a poem about Neal Cassady by Walt Phillips; a section of poems in tribute to Jack Kerouac by Tom Clark, John `Montgomery, Phillips, Joy Walsh & more; an essay on the poetry of Gregory Corso by Gregory Stephenson; article-portraits of WSB & Allen Ginsberg by Kit & Arthur Knight; an essay about & interview with Jack Micheline by Tony Moffeit (the latter with Joel Scherzer) & more.
This book is in Near Fine condition with what looks like a small, very faint water stain on the cover.
The flyer is in Very Good ++ condition, entirely because it was folded at one point and there is a noticeable crease down the middle. But the crease does not impact Bukowski’s illustration.
