D.R. Wagner was a publishing force in the 1960s. Under Niagara and Runcible Spoon presses, he produced over 50 magazines and chapbooks. Bukowski appeared in many of these publications, which were very artistic in nature, albeit with the low production value associated with so many publications of the time. A fellow poet and author over 20 books of poetry and letters of his own, Wagner did much to publicize Bukowski’s work in the 1960s.
This copy is in Very Good ++ condition binding with the rear cover separated from the staples used to bind it. The cover, by T.L. Kryss, and an interior lithograph, were printed on heavy stock, which was too thick the shorter staples. Many copies have the same issue.
A very nice copy of one of the many publications Wagner published in his career.
