Produced in August 2002 by Suzanne Matsumiya, the scarce broadside features a hand-mounted photograph of Charles Bukowski and John Martin, taken Michael Montfort on Bukowski’s wedding day.
Printed on heavy stock, the broadside features the poem, Going Away, and measures 5.5” x 11”.
This copy is in Near Fine-minus condition with a small speck on the middle of the left side.
I’ve never owned a copy of “The Wedding” so I don’t know if this photograph was included in the book. But since only 40 copies of the book were produced, this broadside is worth purchasing for the Michael Montfort photograph alone.
