For whatever reason, this is a scarce little chapbook. It was published by Ana and Dave Christy of the prolific Alpha Beat Press. It is a collection of Charles Bukowski poems that were printed in three of their magazines over the years: Alpha Beat Soup, Cokefish, and Bouillabaisse.

Nine of the poems have yet to be collected in any Charles Bukowski books, including In A Room, o Gain, No Loss, Non-Walking Papers, Short Poem, The Jetliners Vomit The Eyeless Through Space, The Lost And The Lonely, The Ponderous Actuality, White!, and This Whore Which Fucks Us As The Calla Lillies Weave In Some September Sun

There are also many Bukowski drawings, reproductions of letters and envelopes, a poem by photographer Ulvis Alberts about shooting Bukowski in his iconic refrigerator series, a Bukowski letter to Steve Richmond, and a photocopy of Bukowski’s funeral announcement.

This is the first edition with the $5.00 price tag.

This copy is in Near Fine condition with small bumps to the corners and the slightest of wear to the covers.
