Black Sparrow Press issued these five postcards back in the mid-1980s and they’ve become a favorite item for Bukowski collectors ever since.
This is the first edition with the price at $4.95. It has been opened, but very carefully on one side. The result is you get to enjoy the cards with the original packaging pretty much intact.
The postcards consist of four photos of Bukowski and one drawing by Bukowski. On the opposite side are quotes from Bukowski. The photographs were taken by Joan Gannij in Bukowski’s apartment.
A couple of the cards have tiny bumps to the upper right hand corner, but are in otherwise fine condition.
