Bottle 5 Featuring Chalres Bukowski (2007)

The Bottle series were collections of broadsides published by the legendary Bill Roberts and his Bottle of Smoke Press from 2003-2009. 

Published in April 2007. Bottle 5 features a broadside of the Charles Bukowski poem, The Drowning. It consists of a 10” x 8” facsimile of the manuscript for the poem with a deckled bottom edge, mounted on a dark red piece of heavy stock (measuring approximately 11” x 8.5”, and folded once.

The poem was published only once before in “The Southern Poetry Review'” in 1965.

Other broadsides include work by David Barker, justin.barrett, Dave Church, Christopher Cunningham, John Dorsey, Dan Fante, Amanda Fleming, S.A. Griffin, Robert Head, Tom Kryss, Jake Marx, Hosho McCreech, Ann Menebroker, Robert Miltner, Owen Roberts, Larry Smith, Marc Snyder, Kent Taylor, and Jeffrey H. Weinberg.

While the folder is five, there are small bumps on the upper-right corner of all the broadsides.
