Transit 6 - Special Charles Bukowski Tribute Issue, One Uncollected Poem, Six-Page Interview and Four Letters (1994)

Transit magazine published this Tribute Issue shortly after Charles Bukowski died in 1994.

Bukowski was still contributing to Transit before his death, so there are four first appearances here:

• 40,000
• Somebody Knocking
• My Worst Rejection Slip
• So Now?

“Somebody Knocking” was never published in a book.

40,000 and Somebody Knocking would be collected in Bone Palace Ballet, while So Now? would appear in Betting on the Muse, The Pleasures of the Damned, and Essential Bukowski Poetry.

In addition to the poems, there is a 6-page interview with Bukowski and four letters to the publisher.

This copy is in Fine condition.

A beautiful copy of this magazine out of Coventry, England by publisher Kevin Ring.
