Published in the April 1966 issue of Today, Jay Nash wrote this critical study of Bukowski’s work in 1966.

Nash was an early proponent of Bukowski’s work while producing the Chicago Literary Times and other publications.

Through Literary Times/Cyfoeth Press, Nash also produced Bukowski’s 10th chapbook, Cold Dogs in the Courtyard, in 1965. It was a collection of Bukowski poems written between 1956-1963.

This is an important analysis of Bukowski’s work at a critical moment in his career. The magazine itself is kind of a hippie Vatican II publication that seems very progressive for its time.

Overall, the pages are clean, but the spine (while attached) needs careful handling.

A beautiful copy of this curious magazine of Chicago.

(QAnon followers take note of the prophetic portrait of George W. Bush on the cover...)
