The 1976 Black Sparrow Press New Years Greeting featured THE LAST POEM by Diane Wakoski and TOUGH COMPANY by Charles Bukowski. Beginning in 1970, Black Sparrow Press began a long tradition of featuring Bukowski in its New Years Greeting, but this was the only on Bukowski shared with another writer.
This is a lettered hardcover copy designated with the letter Q.
Comes with an uncommom "Complements of the Publisher" card from Black Sparrow Press.
The 1976 greeting was also one of the larger in size, measuring approximately 8” x 5.5”. It is bound in cream paper covered boards with an orange cloth backstrip and is issued in a thick unprinted red paper dust jacket.
