Slowglass Vol. 1, No. 1 -- Three Uncollected Charles Bukowski Poems and John Lennon’s Nutopia

Published in 1973 by Slowglass Vol. 1, No. 1 featured five Bukowski poems:

She Lost Weight
Vegetables
The Copulation Blues
all about
The Arcade Room

Vegetables, all about, and The Arcade Room have yet to be published again.

She Lost Weight appeared in Slouching Toward Nirvana (2005).

The Copulation Blues was collected in Come On In! (2006).

The issue also contains John Lennon and Yoko One’s “Declaration of Utopia.” It’s dated August 6, 1973, several months after the official declaration was made on April Fools Day.

There is also a humorous introduction page for Bukowski.

This copy is in very good condition with some stains to the covers and end pages and a crease on the back cover.
