This is the original manuscript for the poem, You Get So Alone At Times It Just Makes Sense.
It is signed by Bukowski and dated 1/9/86. There are several hand corrections.
The manuscript comes with the Deluxe Signed Limited Edition of the book by the same name, which features a print that is hand-signed Bukowski and dated 7/86.
There were 48 copies of this edition, including 15 Presentation copies. This is one of the 15.
This is a great poem covering Bukowski’s writing career, from starving artist to a heavy weight jumping back into the ring for another go at the title.
This manuscript has one very light fold. The rest of the page is bright and clean. There are several hand corrections and Bukowski has signed it in a nice ink pen and dated it 1-9-86.
