This is a one-page, signed and dated manuscript by Charles Bukowski.
The poem has never been published in any Bukowski books, but it did appear in Whoreson Dog No. 1, published in 1993 out of Pasadena, California.
The manuscript is a file copy but is hand-signed and dated by Charles Bukowski in black ink.
Once he began working with Black Sparrow Press publisher John Martin in the late 1960s, Bukowski began to keep carbons or copies of the poems he sent out to magazines for publication. Martin would collect the file copies until he had enough quality poems to publish a book. For whatever reason, Martin did not include this poem in any books.
This copy has a few light wrinkles and two pin-sized marks, most likely from a staple that oxidized.
The manuscript comes with a copy of Whoreson Dog No. 1, which is n Near Fine condition.
A letter of authenticity will be provided by The Buk Shop.

Mike is passionate and fascinating. I bought him the 1968 vinyl "Poetry" with Steve Richmond, one of the rarest items related to Buk. I'm so happy.
