Published in 1983, “Charles Bukowski A Bibliographic Price Guide by David Barker” was a very adventurous undertaking prior to that World Wide Web thing.
Hundreds of Bukowski works are cited, along with a period pricing guide based on the condition of the items. The guide is divided into eight sections, from books to periodicals. There is also a section on Rarities, which includes the famous Targets Signature 2 controversy, with Al Fogel and Marvin Malone proving context. There are even drawings of the design for Signature 2.
Laid in is an addendum with new works, which was published several months later.
What makes this catalog more satisfying is a linoleum cut print of Bukowski portrait by Barker. He really nails it. Each print is initialed by Barker.
All in all, a nice addition for Bukowski collectors.
This copy is in Near Fine-minus condition with some sunning on the right side of the front cover and some general wear. The Addendum is in Very Good ++ condition with some creases.
