This is a First Trade Edition Hardcover copy of Charles Bukowski’s Septuagenarian Stew. It is one of 1,000 copies produced.
Though not called for, Bukowski signed this copy on the title page of the book.
For Black Sparrow limited edition, signed books, Bukowski would sign the individual colophon pages that would later be inserted into the books.
In this case, Bukowski actually held the finished book when he signed it.
Published by Black Sparrow Press in 1990, Septuagenarian Stew is considered one of Bukowski’s finest collections, featuring both poems and short stories.
This copy is in Near Fine with some slight wear to the covers. Rarely do you see the white covers maintained in this condition.

Mike is passionate and fascinating. I bought him the 1968 vinyl "Poetry" with Steve Richmond, one of the rarest items related to Buk. I'm so happy.
