Renaissance was a San Francisco magazine edited by John Bryan, who would go on to publish Bukowski’s work in the 1960s and early 1970s.

This is the "The Peace Scene" issue from 1962 and is full of works by Beat writers on the subject.

Bukowski offers a counterview with his famous 6-page essay, “Peace, Baby, is a Hard Sell.”

Other contributors include Gregory Corso, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Lenore Kandel, William Packard, Robert Stock, John Thomas, Curtis Zahn and more.

This copy is in Very Good ++ condition with sunning to the spine and light wear to the covers.
