On March 22, 1994, a group of Bukowski collectors and subnormals met at The Idler Pub in Toronto, Canada, to hold a wake for the recently deceased Charles Bukowski.
Although hangovers and large bar tabs survived the evening, this chapbook is the only evidence it ever occurred.
Published by ecs toronto, the chapbook reprints the Bukowski classic poem, Something for The Touts, The Nuns, The Grocery Clerks and You...
A small reproduction of a Bukowski drawing of a bookstore is also printed in the chapbook.
Only 73 copies we published for the occasion, this one being #55/73.
How this copy survived the evening with no pint glass rings or cigarette burns is anyone’s guess, but this copy is in Mint condition. Measures approximately 7” x 4.5”.
