Published in 1960, Quagga Vol. 1, No.3 featured the first appearances of one of Bukowski’s most famous poem, To The Whore Who Took My Poems.
The poem would later appear in Longshot Pomes for Broke Players (1961), It Catches My Heart In Its Hands (1963), A Bukowski Sampler (1969), Burning in Water Drowning in Flame (1974), On Love (2016), Essential Bukowski: Poetry (2016).
It was also included in the recording Poetry of Charles Bukowski, Pacifica Radio (2008).

Contributors also include e.e. cummings and Lawrence Ferlinghetti.
This copy is in Near Fine with some light creases, small bumps to the cover, and a couple of dog ears to the interior pages.
Overall, an excellent copy of journal edited by Paul Schmidt out of Austin, TX.
