Promotional Poster for Film “Bukowski" -- Signed by Charles Bukowski (1973)

One of Hollywood director Taylor Hackford’s first film projects was a 1973 documentary on Charles Bukowski, simply titled “Bukowski”.  It premiered on Sunday November 25, 1973, on Los Angeles public television station KCET.

This is a rare promotional poster for the broadcast. I've seen less than 6 copies in all of my years of collecting. But this one is even more special because it is signed by Charles Bukowski with a period signature.

It features a photograph of Bukowski standing outside a bar, measures approximately 11” x 17” and is printed on heavy stock.

This copy has been folded once horizontally, but it’s not as noticeable as you’d think. It has some slight It has some slight discoloration, more so around the edges. Having said that, it's in the best condition of any copy I've seen.

This copy is very tastefully framed and would make a great gift. However, I can remove it from the frame to save on shipping.
