You don’t need to know German to appreciate the beautiful photographs of Charles Bukowski in this German version of Horsemeat.
And while the photographs in this German edition are printed instead of laid in like Horsemeat, you’ll pay a lot less than the American edition. Like Horsemeat, this is also an oversized book, measuring 10.5” x 14.5”.
So many great Bukowski stories take place at the horse track that it seems fitting they did a book on it. Photographer Michael Montford spends the day with Bukowski at the track, catching him in his best-known element among the doomed gamblers.
The Dust Jacket is in Very Good ++ condition with some wear and creases, but no tears.
The book itself is in Near Fine-minus condition with some edgewear a bump on the upper right impacting both covers.
