Cannon Films produced this promo pamphlet in 1987 for the movie’s release. It features an interview with Charles Bukowski along with stills and photos of Bukowski and the cast.
This copy is signed by Bukowski next to his photo on the first page of the interview.
It is a single sheet folded in four, so there are eight pages of photographs and text once it is unfolded.
This copy is in Near Fine condition with a one-inch tear along one of the folds.
This copy came from estate of Red Stodolsky, owner of Baroque Book Store and a close friend of Charles Bukowski. Bukowski would go by Red’s shop regularly and the two would go to lunch at Musso & Frank Grill. But first Bukowski would sit and sign a pile of books for Red to sell. The great thing about these copies is that Bukowski actually held the books as he signed them. With the limited-edition Black Sparrow Books, Bukowski would sign individual pages that were later inserted into the books.
