On February 17, 1986, Jean Francois Duval had an opportunity to interview Charles Bukowski at his home in San Pedro, California. She caught him on a good night and the conversation seems to flow easily. Linda Lee also chimes in here and there, helping to paint a picture of the evening.
It’s a lengthy interview, spanning almost forty pages with a short introduction, and includes some photographs as well.
Only 150 copies were produced, this being hand-numbered #53/150.
With some edgewear, this is a Near Fine copy.
Published in 2020, this is yet another beautiful chapbook published by Kevin Ring’s legendary Beat Scene Press out of Coventry, England. Ring produced a number of chapbooks about Bukowski and other writers, as well Bukowski poems and articles in his Transit and Beat Scene magazines.
