Published in Feb. 1971, Laugh Literary And Man The Humping Guns No. 3 was the final issue of this short-lived magazine published by Bukowski and Neeli Cherry.
This copy is signed on the title page by Neeli Cherry and features several of his drawings.
One problem Bukowski and Cherry encountered was finding enough good writing. So, in some cases, they gave their own work pseudonyms.
This issue includes the first appearance of the Charles Bukowski short story:
The Time I Knocked Out Ernest Hemingway And Was Discovered As A New Literary Giant
This short story would later be collected in South of No North under the title Class.
There are also four excerpts from letters written by Bukowski to Cherry.
Other poetry contributors include Cheery (who provides a bunch of drawings as well), prison poet Tony Quagliano, Al Masserik, Ben Pleasants, and Steve Richmond.
This copy is in Near Fine condition with some discoloration to the spine area.
