Published in 1968, Hiram Poetry Review No. 5 featured the Bukowski poem, Just Another Wino.

The poem would go uncollected for 39 years until it appeared in The People Look Like Flowers At Last (2007).

Still around today, The Hiram Poetry Review was founded in 1966 by Hiram College English professor Hale Chatfield. The journal played an important role in establishing Bukowski’s career, whose work appeared frequently in the journal between 1966 and 1969.

This copy is in Near Fine with a light crease to lower-right front cover and a few inevitable light stains to the white covers.
