Released in 1978 by Zweitausendeins, this recording is from Bukowski’s May 5, 1978, reading in Hamburg, Germany. The photograph on the front cover is by Michael Montfort, with the poems printed on the other  three sides in both English and German. The record has German advertising on both sides , which may or may not be original to the lp.

The LP comes with a large, 23.5” x 35” poster with a photograph by Ulvis Albert of Bukowski standing in front of his refrigerator with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other.

I don’t have the expertise to grade vinyl records, but here is my description.

There are bumps on the upper and lower right side, but do not impact the second part of the cover on the back. There are a few creases on the upper and lower edges. There is light general toning on the covers, more on the spine where the record title has been scratched. The record could use a dusting, but I see no visible scratches.

The poster has five folds and there is tape on the back, indicating is was hung at some point. There are two small tears on the top and bottom of the vertical fold, but here are no tears past that point. There is also a visible tear on the lower left on the front of the poster.
