This the 1985 hardcover edition of the 1985 New Years Greeting from Black Sparrow Press.

Only 226 copies were produced, this one being hand-numbered 166.

It is larger than most greetings, measuring 5.5” x 8.5, and longer with five poems, including:

• A New War
• Fame
• Fellow Countryman
• It's Slow Tonight
• Revolt In The Ranks

These New Year's greetings were an annual tradition from Black Sparrow Press beginning in 1970. They were given to friends of the press and usually contained a poem by Bukowski.
