Going Modern: Suppressed Charles Bukowski Chapbook with Four Uncollected Poems

Published by by Ruddy Duck Press in 1984, Goimg Modern (Oro Madre 10) was never released because Bukowski’s editor supposedly frowned on the design for some reason. All 500 copies were supposed to be destroyed, but a few seem to have survived.

There are two great Bukowski illustrations in the book and six classic Bukowski poems, four of which are uncollected in any books:

Rudy Duck Press was published by J. Glazier, who included Bukowski in two issues of Oro Madre and the books Going Modern and All's Normal Here.

This copy is in Near Fine condition.

Overall, a very nice copy of this anthology out of Fremont, California.
