This fun little broadside was created by the legendary Johnny Brewton and his X-Ray Book Co. Brewton has published over a dozen of Bukowski’s works since 1995, as well as other artists and musicians, such as Tom Waits.
Published in 2002, it features the poem, be cool, fool, and was issued as part of the X-Ray Grab Bag - No. 1.
It is a single 11” x 4.75” sheet, folded twice to make a six-page booklet.
This copy features an eye graphic on the back page.
The poem would later appear in The Flash of Lightning Behind the Mountain (2004).
This copy is in Mint condition.
