Coastlines 21-22 -- One Uncollected, One First Appearance Poem by Charles Bukowski (1964)

Published in 1964, Coastlines 21-22 (Vol. 6, No.1&2) includes two early Bukowski poems:

Upon Listening To Symphony Music While Drunk has not yet been published again.

Everything would later be collected in The Roominghouse Madrigals (1988).

This copy is in Near Fine condition with bright white covers and the slightest of wear.

This was Bukowski’s fourth appearance in Coastlines. Even though this happened to be a another special issue for Los Angeles writers, Coastlines was a long-running poetry journal that was very influential in the L.A poetry scene. Bukowski would appear in four issues between 1959 – 1964.
