I’ve read some of the early letters between Douglas Good win and Charles Bukowski, and it’s clear that Bukowski took a shine to both the poetry and the poet.
Published in 1987, the poems in Half A Memory of a Distant Life were liked well enough by Bukowski to write a glowing forward for the chapbook.
Bukowski also liked his work enough to lend 10 of his poems to Sisyphus Leaves, a 1992 chapbook featuring the works of Bukowski, Goodwin and Steve Richmond.
This copy is in Near Fine-minus condition with some light overall wear.
