Black Sparrow Press Button Featuring Charles Bukowski Portrait by Robert Crumb

This uncommon pin was used to market both Black Sparrow Press and their new Charles Bukowski titles, which were being published posthumously when the pin was distributed in the late 1990s.

The pin features a legendary portrait of Bukowski by Robert Crumb. The colored version was included as a serigraph in special editions of the book, “The Captain Is Out To Lunch The Sailors Have Taken Over The Ship”.

The pin measures approximately 2.25”.  Some light scratches show when titled under light -- as well as a couple tiny dings. The back looks like it has some kind of oxidation.
