A Bukowski Sampler: 46 Early Charles Bukowski Poems and Excerpt from First Unpublished Novel

This is the second edition of “A Bukowski Sampler”, edited by Doug Blazek and published by Druid Books out of Madison, Wisconsin, in 1971.

It is 77 pages long and contains 46 Charles Bukowski Poems and several drawings.

But what makes this chapbook really fascinating is a five-page excerpt from Charles Bukowski’s first attempt at a novel, "The Way the Dead Love”, which was never published.

This copy is in Near Fine-minus condition, with sunning at the spine, accentuated by the folding of the vibrant blue cover. Everything else about this copy is fine, including the heavy-duty staples used to bind the chapbook.
