1973 Bukowski City Lights Reading: Signed by Ferlinghetti and Linda King

This is a small poster/flyer measuring approximately 14” x 10.5”.

This is a small poster/flyer for the 1973 Charles Bukowski reading in San Francisco at City Lights Poets Theater.

The reading was immortalized in Taylor Hackford’s film Bukowski, which included a scene where Linda King and Bukowski got into an ugly fight at Ferlinghetti’s apartment.

Appropriately, the poster is signed by both Ferlinghetti and Linda King in silver ink.

The poster measure approximately and is in Fine condition.

I have not seen another copy of this flyer, so it’s difficult to tell if it is original from the time period. It is printed on heavy stock, which is quite different from other flyers I’ve carried.

Regardless, it’s a beautiful poster whose authenticity is only enhanced by the signatures.
