Signed by Charles Bukowski: A Poet #5 from Realities Library: Three Uncollected Poems, Six Total
This is another interesting production from realities library out of San Jose, California.
It is signed by Charles Bukowski on the front cover in fine black ink.
What’s most interesting about this chapbook is the inclusion of the poem, War All The Time, which curiously enough was not included in the book of the same title by Black Sparrow Press. The poem has never been published again.
The chapbook consists of a single sheet of yellow paper measuring 8 1/2 x 14 folded twice, making a four-page booklet that contains six poems, three of which are uncollected.
The poems include:
The Pack, The Sadness Which Sometimes Pierces, and War All The Time have yet to be published again.
A Note To The Boys In The Back Room as included in War All the Time (1984).
Something Cares later appeared in Come On In! (2006).
Success? Was renamed Introduction to chapter 4 and included in The Night Torn Mad With Footsteps (2001).
This copy is in Very Good ++ condition with some general toning to the paper and a light crease on the bottom of the booklet that impacts the entire sheet.
